Multi-instrumentalist South Londoner Ben Hobbs is a musician of verve. His debut 'Sweet Enough' briskly racked up hits and the blogging world marvelled at his effortless brew of delightful indie pop.  'Wishful Thinking' is the second offering by the singer/songwriter/producer, and true to his artistry is an impressive blend of shimmering synths and melodic electro charm. This latest gem is just as engaging as his first, with gusto at the heart of production and sincerity in his vocal; Hobbs' words are embellished in a silky sonic fullness. Live shows and official releases are yet to be announced, but with this gradual surfacing of promising material, we don't doubt that there will be a loyal body awaiting news ardently. -LB
